About Me
Welcome to my page and thank you for taking the time to stop by. My name is Michelle, I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I have an Enhanced DBS. Taking the first step to reach out for support can feel daunting something I have done myself after going through a difficult time in my life. I wonder if you have you ever said you were okay when you wasn't because someone wouldn't understand? Or wondered if Counselling could be for you? Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope? Maybe I can help,
I offer short and long term counselling for adults, children and young people and I am a trauma informed therapist. I have online and face to face appointments. If you would like to know more please do not hesitate to contact me.
Covering Bexleyheath, Gillingham Kent and surrounding area’s.
I hope to hear from you and look forward to meeting you

About Mental Health
Depression
You feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days. It is not a sign of weakness or something you can “snap out of” by “pulling yourself together”.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life, as it is a natural human response when we feel that we are under threat. It can be experienced through our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.
Bereavement
Losing someone important to us can be emotionally devastating — whether it’s a partner, family member or friend. Grief can bring up lots of different, complicated emotions, and can sometimes affect our physical health.
Abuse
Abuse us when someone causes us harm or distress. It can take many forms, physical, sexual, and emotional which can cause mental pain. It can occur anywhere. Sometimes it is not intentional, but it does happen and can be very traumatic and have a devastating impact peoples lives and ability to cope.
